PAN BIRMINGHAM CANCER NETWORK USER PARTNERSHIP GROUP
PBCN User Partnership Group is made up of people who have experience of cancer services and work together to help make a difference.
What is a ‘user’?
The word ‘user’ describes anyone who has been affected or has experience of cancer either as patients, carers or health professionals.
What do we do?
The group aims to provide effective links between patients, carer’s and health professionals to help shape local services in the Pan Birmingham area.
What is our aim?
We aim to identify areas for improvement as well as areas of excellence from a user perspective and help to make the right changes so that the patients, as well as the carer, have a trouble-free cancer journey.
When do we meet?
We meet every four/six weeks at the Network Offices, Birmingham Research Park with travelling expenses fully reimbursed.
Why should I get involved?
- Your experience of the cancer services is unique and the use of your experiences to make suggestions would help future patients and carers.
- To work with other representatives to be more effective in making changes.
- Join together to become one effective ‘cancer voice’ for patients and carers.
