Advanced Communication Skills Training
Communication skills are a vital component in every interaction in health care and the need for competence in this area is emphasised in the NHS Plan and the NHS Cancer Plan. Pan Birmingham Palliative Care Network and the Interactive Skills Unit at the University of Birmingham are collaborating to offer a range of courses in communication skills for health professionals. These courses cover topics from breaking bad news to working with interpreters and are suitable for Nurses, Doctors and Allied Health Professionals.
Course costs will be met by Pan Birmingham Cancer Network. Courses are non-residential. PLEASE NOTE THAT LATE CANCELALTION WILL INCUR A PENALTY COST OF £500. Supprt from your line manager will be required.
